CSE is looking to rebound from a 7-29 campaign last season. The Eagles return four starters in
Marie Goodman,
Elizabeth Unger,
Rachael Romer and
Marielis Alicea.  Unger lead the team last season in hits, home runs, RBI's, total bases and second in batting average and doubles.
CSE will look for contributions from 11 newcomers, many of whom will look to make an immediate impact. Despite all the new faces, Eisenstein is confident in the young team. " With the addition of 11 newcomers to the roster this year, I am eager to see the positive strides the program makes. This year's team is an exciting and explosive group. I look forward to watching our hard work pay off and challenging the top teams in the conference."Â
Following the Florida swing, the Eagles open up non-conference play against john Jay on March 25. Conference play begins on April 4 against Penn State Abington.
