Softball Opens its 2017 Campaign Sunday in Florida

Morristown, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's softball team opens its season Sunday against Husson University and Finlandia University in Clermont, Florida.

The Eagles will make its first ever appearance at THE Spring Games in Clermont. The Eagles will play ten games over a six-day span. CSE will open its season on Sunday, with games against Husson at 8 am and Finlandia at 1 pm. The following day, the Eagles will take on Elizabethtown College and the University of Mount Union. Following a day off, the Eagles will match up with Immaculata University and Penn State New Kensington on Thursday. CSE will wrap up its spring break trip on Friday with contests against Concordia University Chicago and the United States Coast Guard Academy.

The Eagles hosts its home opener on March 18 against Baruch College. The Eagles swept two from Baruch last season. After two more out of conference double-headers with Brooklyn College and NJCU, the Eagles travel to Penn State Abington on April 1 for its NEAC opener. The Eagles NEAC home opener takes place on April 12 against Penn State Berks.

CSE closes out the regular season with a five game home stand against Delaware Valley, Penn State Abington, Lancaster Bible, Wilson, and Gallaudet. The NEAC tournament takes place at the NEAC South #1 seed on May 5-7.
