Natalie Acciani Announced as Women's Soccer Coach

Morristown, N.J. – Saint Elizabeth University and Director of Athletics Tom Wagenblast have announced Natalie Acciani as the newest addition to the staff as head women's soccer coach. She brings an excellent energy and athletics background to campus, and is a great fit for the Eagles.

"We are beyond excited to welcome Coach Acciani to Saint Elizabeth," said Wagenblast. "Her drive to create and foster a healthy, stable and winning culture within our department with the women's soccer program is something that our entire staff is looking forward to. Her background in playing, coaching and mentoring student-athletes will have a tremendous impact on the campus community."

Prior to arriving in Morristown, Acciani was the assistant women's soccer and assistant women's basketball coach at Camden County College in Southern New Jersey. While with the Cougars, she played an invaluable role in training, recruiting and retaining student-athletes, coordinating fundraising activities, and monitoring academic and athletic performance.

At Camden County, Acciani also developed and implemented the athletic department's first Student-Athlete Academic Success program. She worked closely with staff in all areas of the institution to ensure the student-athletes were succeeding in the classroom and making significant strides towards graduation.

Acciani is also a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and the founder and executive director of a nonprofit organization that specializes in mental health and suicide prevention. She has spoken at events on mental health issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body image and bullying.

As a player at Camden County, Acciani was an All-Region First Team selection and captain of the women's soccer team, and a captain and rebounding record holder for the women's basketball team.

Acciani has a degree in public policy from Rutgers University New Brunswick with a minor in psychology. Her previous soccer coaching experience also includes the Real Madrid Foundation and Washington United & Elite Sports Group.
