MORRISTOWN, N.J. — October 15, 2025 — Saint Elizabeth University women's soccer dropped a tough decision to visiting Marymount (VA) on Wednesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Soccer Field.
The Eagles faced a relentless offensive effort from Marymount, who tallied 40 total shots and 20 on goal. Goalkeeper Elizabeth Giamboy stood tall for Saint Elizabeth throughout the contest, turning aside 13 saves in a busy day between the posts.
Despite the early deficit, Saint Elizabeth's defensive unit—anchored by Katherine Mora, Chelsea Sarmiento, and Eleny Leonor-Aleman—continued to battle, limiting the Saints' chances through much of the second half. Mora was issued the team's lone yellow card in the 62nd minute as the Eagles fought to keep their shape under heavy pressure.
