Madison, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University women's soccer team hosted Centenary University (NJ) on Saturday afternoon at Ranger Field.
Sophomore goalkeeper Elizabeth Giamboy stood out for the Eagles with a strong performance between the posts, tallying 13 saves on 21 shots on goal. Her poise under pressure helped steady Saint Elizabeth's defense throughout the contest.
Despite the pressure, Saint Elizabeth continued to compete defensively, with Katherine Mora and Chelsea Sarmiento anchoring the back line.
In the second half, the Eagles showed improvement in possession and earned a late corner kick opportunity in the 81st minute. Mikayla Taunisma recorded Saint Elizabeth's lone shot on goal in the closing minutes, testing Centenary keeper Kelby Kaiser, who secured the shutout with one save.
