Newark, DE- The Saint Elizabeth University Cross Country teams traveled to Newark, DE, to compete in the University of Delaware Invitational.
Men's Results (8K)
- Joshua Ford would be the first Eagle to cross the line for the Eagles, earning a Top 25 finish, finishing 25th, with a time of 30:58.2.
- Raoul-Michel Bouzi would be the Eagles next to cross the line, as he would clock a time of 35:34.9.
- MIchael Cullen was the next Eagle to finish for the Eagles, as he would finish with a 44:37.2.
- Sayfullah Carter would be the fourth Eagle to finish, as he would cross with a time of 53:13.5.
- Lavar Green was the second next Eagle, as he finished with a time of 1:00:52.8.
- Tristan Rodriguez would round out the field for the Eagles, finishing a minute behind Green, with a time of 1:01:20.6.
Women's Results (5K)
- Talissa Sakar would be the first Eagle to corss the line, finishing with a time of 27:59.
- Cadera Harell & Zaynah Miller would finish behind Sakar, but were only seperated by .2 seconds between the pair. Harell would be the first of the duo to cross, finishing with a time of 34:15.1. While Miller, finished with a time of 34:15.3.
- Myshiah McQueen would round out the field for the Eagles as she would cross with a time of 39:09.5.
Up Next for The Eagles
The Eagles will return to action on Thursday, September 25th, as they will compete vs. FDU-Florham & Drew in the first of two Battle of Madison Avenue Tri-Meets. The race will take place at 5:00PM, from Giralda Farms, and will be a 4K race.
