Newark, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth Men's & Women's Cross Country teams competed in the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge, on Saturday, October 12th.
Men's Results
On the Men's side:
- Michael Cullen would be the first Eagle to cross the line breaking 40 minutes in the 8k course, with a time of 39:28.2.
- Kyzier Keller and Tyler Andersen-Mayes would finish within three seconds of each other with Keller finishing first between the pair with a time of 45:17.1, and Andersen-Mayes finishing with a time of 45:20.8.
- Anthony Vacca would finish fourth overall for the Eagles, finishing with a time of 50:31.1.
- Kevin Gonzalez Jr. and Cam Vicari would round out the Eagles' race finishing back to back, with Gonzalez finishing with a time of 58:51.2, and Vicari finishing with a time of 1:00:33.5.
Women's Results
On the Women's side:
- Ashley Torres would cross the line first for the Eagles, finishing with a time of 33:05.1.
- Savannah Vanwinkle would be the second Eagle to cross the line, finishing with a time of 35:11.5.
- Finishing third for the Eagles, would be Hannah Brown, crossing the line with a time of 50:35.4.
- Kara Reyes & Deeana McIntosh would round out the race for the Eagles with the two finishing within .1 second of each other, Reyes would cross the line first with a time of 53:37.4, while McIntosh would finish with a time of 53:37.5.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, October 19th, as they will compete at Rowan University in the Interregional Border.
