Eagles fall after four sets to Keystone

La Plume, P.A. -  The College of Saint Elizabeth women's volleyball team fell to Keystone three sets to one. The scores were 7-25, 19-25, 26-24, and 13-25. The team's record is 6-7 after the loss and 2-2 within CSAC.

 

The Eagles got off to a slow start with the game one loss. However they did their best to come back from the early deficit, by scoring 19 in the second game. They took game three to make the match closer, but dropped the final game of the night. The Eagles comeback attempt was led by a few key contributions. Sophomore Alizea Amaral (Newark, N.J.) has 14 assists on the night to go along with 10 digs. Sophomore Jora Nivar (Newark, N.J.) had 14 digs and two assists. Seniors Yas Muhammad ( Newark, N.J.) and Stephanie Mitarotonda (East Rutherford, N.J.) both has nine kills in the match.

 

The Eagles are home for their next match on Tuesday, Oct. 15 where they will take on Cedar Crest at 7 p.m.
