Morristown, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's basketball team (0-2, 0-0 NEAC) is set to hold their home opener on Saturday against NEAC foe Gallaudet University.

The Eagles are looking for their first win of the season after dropping a pair of contests to Old Westbury and Ramapo at the Roadrunner Tip-Off hosted by Ramapo College. Danesha Triplett was named to the Roadrunner Tip-Off All-Tournament Team after she averaged 12.5 points and 9.5 rebounds, while knocking down seven of her eight free throw attempts throughout the first two games.

Freshman Deja Ingram had a stellar first two games, averaging 12 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. In her first career game against Old Westbury, Ingram recorded a double-double, finishing with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Senior Ashley Pledger is currently tied for second on the team, averaging 12 points per game to go along with 5.5 rebounds.

Gallaudet University is coming off a season opening 74-60 loss to Oberlin College on November 28th. The Bison were picked to finish in fifth place in he NEAC Preseason Poll after finishing last season with a 14-11 record and a 13-7 mark in the NEAC. Gallaudet was the 3rd seed in the NEAC South Division before dropping their quarterfinal NEAC playoff matchup to Penn State Abington.

The tip-off between the Eagles and the Bison is scheduled for 2 pm in Saint Joseph Hall.
