BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Saint Elizabeth University women's basketball team used a dominant fourth quarter to earn a 65-56 road victory over Pratt in Atlantic East Conference action.
After a tightly contested first half, the Eagles settled in defensively and controlled the tempo down the stretch. Leading by just two entering the final quarter, Saint Elizabeth outscored Pratt 22-14 over the final 10 minutes, forcing key turnovers and converting in transition to pull away.
Elyssa Russo led the offense with 22 points, including four three-pointers, while Ahjionae Cobb added 15 points and five rebounds. Yasminah White filled the stat sheet with 12 points and seven assists, directing the offense throughout the night. Mya Davis chipped in 12 points, providing a key scoring lift in the second half.
The Eagles forced 31 turnovers and capitalized on fast-break opportunities, showcasing their defensive pressure and composure late to secure the conference win.
