Morristown, N.J.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's basketball team will look to rebound from a tough opening weekend as they head to Gallaudet University to open NEAC play.
CSE will be returning to the nation's capital where their season ended last year in the first round of the NEAC Championships, dropping a heartbreaker 68-62. Gallaudet is 1-1 on the season, losing to division 1 member Winthrop, before defeating NEAC opponent Penn College, 68-61 on Wednesday night.
The Eagles will be looking to improve upon their opening weekend, when they fell to Staten Island College and Drew University in the Rose City Classic. Last year's leading score
Ashley Pledger, currently leads the Eagles averaging 19 points per game.
Danesha Triplett has been a key down low, averaging a double-double, 13 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
The game is set for 3 pm at the Field House at Gallaudet University.
