MORRISTOWN, NJ – February 26, 2026 – The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup to Lehman College in straight sets (25-12, 25-19, 25-18) Wednesday evening inside St. Joseph's Hall .

Lehman came out firing offensively, posting a blistering .591 hitting percentage in the opening set to take early control of the match . Despite the setback, the Eagles showed resilience throughout the night, battling defensively and finding stretches of offensive rhythm as the match progressed.

Saint Elizabeth settled in during the second set, improving its attack efficiency and staying competitive behind contributions from multiple players. Kennedy Ibezim led the way offensively, finishing with six kills, while Ih'Jamir Williams paced the Eagles with a team-high seven kills on the night .

Defensively, Enock Joachim delivered a standout performance, recording a match-high 21 digs while also adding four kills. Libero Jameel Wright provided strong support in the back row with 19 digs, helping stabilize serve receive and extend rallies throughout the contest .

Setter Randel Romero orchestrated the offense with 18 assists, distributing the ball across the front row as the Eagles continued to compete in the final set .

The third set proved to be Saint Elizabeth's strongest, as the Eagles pushed Lehman with improved offensive execution and defensive intensity. However, Lehman's balanced attack and efficiency ultimately secured the sweep.

As a team, Saint Elizabeth totaled 21 kills and 52 digs in the match, continuing to show defensive grit and effort despite the result .

Saint Elizabeth will look to build on its defensive performance as the Eagles prepare for their next contest.
