MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The Saint Elizabeth University women's basketball team fell to Marywood, 66-58, in a back-and-forth conference matchup at St. Joseph's Hall.
The Eagles came out strong offensively and held the lead early before Marywood responded in the middle quarters. The contest featured multiple lead changes and remained within single digits entering the final period.
Cobb paced Saint Elizabeth with 16 points, attacking the basket and converting at the free-throw line. Russo added 15 points, including key perimeter baskets that kept the Eagles within reach. The bench provided energy throughout the contest as Saint Elizabeth battled on both ends of the floor.
