PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. – The Saint Elizabeth University men's volleyball team battled through four sets Monday night but fell to Valley Forge University 3-1 (25-18, 20-25, 25-14, 25-21) at the University of Valley Forge Gymnasium.
After dropping the opening set, Saint Elizabeth responded with a strong performance in the second set, earning a 25-20 victory to even the match. Valley Forge regained momentum in the third set and carried it into the fourth, holding off the Eagles late to secure the win.
Kennedy Ibezim led Saint Elizabeth with nine kills, while Enock Joachim added six kills. Akash Jenkins contributed five kills, and setter Randel Romero finished with 13 assists.
Saint Elizabeth recorded 13 service aces and finished with six total team blocks in the match.
