Morristown, N.J. – January 21, 2026 — The Saint Elizabeth University women's basketball team secured a 61–50 victory over Pratt Institute on Wednesday evening at St. Joseph's Hall. The win improves the Eagles to 8–8 overall and 2–3 in conference play.
The contest featured multiple lead changes and momentum swings, with neither team able to pull away early. Pratt led 13–10 after the first quarter, but Saint Elizabeth responded with an 18–13 second quarter to take a 28–26 halftime advantage. The Eagles maintained composure through a back-and-forth third period before delivering a decisive fourth-quarter performance, outscoring Pratt 19–7 to close out the game.
Yasminah White paced the Eagles with 14 points, attacking in transition and providing steady scoring throughout the night. Ahjionae Cobb recorded 14 points and nine rebounds, while Elyssa Russo added 11 points and six assists to guide the offense. My'shiah McQueen contributed six rebounds and two blocks, anchoring the interior defense.
Defensively, Saint Elizabeth forced 21 Pratt turnovers and converted them into 15 fast-break points. The Eagles also controlled the boards with a 39–35 rebounding edge and scored 14 second-chance points.
Pratt was led by Anabela Jakelic, who posted 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Kylie Grant, who added 17 points and 15 rebounds. Despite strong individual performances, Pratt struggled offensively in the fourth quarter, shooting just 14.3% from the field.
