Morristown, N.J. – January 14, 2026 – The St. Elizabeth University women's basketball team fought through four quarters Wednesday night but came up short in a 71–56 loss to Immaculata University inside St. Joseph's Hall.
Immaculata built an early advantage, leading 18–14 after the first quarter, and extended its margin with a 26–10 second period to take a 44–24 halftime lead. The Eagles of St. Elizabeth showed determination in the second half, winning the third quarter 13–10 and continuing to battle in the final frame, but the early deficit proved too large to overcome as Immaculata secured the 71–56 victory.
