IMMACULATA, Pa. — January 14, 2026 — The St. Elizabeth University men's basketball team dropped a road contest Wednesday night, falling 89–71 to Immaculata University inside Alumnae Hall.
The Eagles started strong, taking an early lead and holding a 38–36 advantage at halftime. St. Elizabeth shot efficiently in the opening period, hitting 42.4 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from three-point range in the first half. However, Immaculata surged after the break, outscoring the Eagles 53–33 in the second half to secure the victory.
Josiah King led St. Elizabeth with a team-high 18 points, adding seven rebounds and providing consistent scoring in the paint. Joseph Mazzola followed with 11 points, knocking down three three-pointers, while Cam'Ron Martel added eight points and four rebounds. Tye-Rell Monroe contributed 15 points and six rebounds, going 9-for-10 at the free-throw line.
St. Elizabeth finished the night shooting 38.7 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from beyond the arc, while Immaculata shot 40.2 percent overall. The Eagles also forced 25 Immaculata turnovers, converting them into 10 fast-break points.
