Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Soccer team welcomed York College to town on Saturday, September 27th.
Match/Scoring Breakdown
- The game would stay even between the two squads, with both teams getting up a healthy amount of shots int he first half. The Eagles would finally find the back of the net early in the 36th minute, as Zach Achmed would strike for the Eagles off an assist from Bruce Santana, giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead.
- The Eagles would take the 1-0 lead into the break, before the Eagles would open the flood gates with five goals in the second half.
- Paul Piotrowski would earn the first of two goals on the day for his totals, as he would find the back of the net late into the 52nd minute.
- Marvin Miranda would follow up two minutes later with a goal of his own, as Diego Rios would assist in Miranda's goal early in the 54th minute.
- Piotrowki would continue the onslaught for the Eagles, as he would strike with his second goal of the game from Carlos Saldana, halfway through the 60th minute.
- Gowens Louis would continue the heavy scoring for the Eagles as he would earn his first career goal early in the 67th, as Axel Garay would earn the assist.
- Tugay Bozogluer would round out the scoring for the Eagles in the half and on the game, as late in the 79th minute, Bozogluer would find the back of the net from Miranda, securing the 6-0 lead for the Eagles.
- Jonathan Ramirez Delgado got the start in goal going the full 90 for the Eagles, making seven saves in the game.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, October 4th, as they will begin conference play, as the team will celebrate senior day vs. Gwynedd Mercy, with kickoff set for 7:00PM at Shields Field on the campus of FDU-Florham.
