Abington, PA- The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Volleyball team traveled to Abington, Pa. to face the Penn State Abington on Thursday, September 18th.
Match Results
- The Eagles would keep the first two sets within six, before falling by finals of 25-19 & 25-21.
- The Nittany Lions would then use the strength of a 8-1 run midway through the third set, and a 6-0 run to close out the set 25-11, and secure the sweep vs. the Eagles.
Top Performers
- Victoria Compton would have a double digit night of asssists for the Eagles, as she would tally 13 assists on the night, also picking up seven digs on the defensive side.
- Marissa Heimbaugh would lead the team in points, tallying nine total points on the night, thanks to the strength of eight kills, and one service ace. Heimbaugh would also have eight digs on the night for the Eagles.
- Dadlyna Louis would pick up eight points for the Eagles, as she would get six kills, off two block assists, and one service ace.
- Mia Gonzales would have a six point night for the Eagles, picking up five kills, seven dig on defense, and one service ace.
- Marissa Jean Baptiste would pick up five points for the Eagles, with four of those points coming off of solo blocks, and the other coming off of a kill.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, September 20th, as they will head to Montclair, NJ, as they will look to compete in the Montclair Tri-Match, vs. Montclair State & United States Merchant Marine. The Eagles first match is scheduled for 12:00pm.
