Purchase, NY- The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Volleyball team traveled to Purchase, NY, to face the Purchase Panthers on the road, Tuesday night.
Match Results
- The Eagles would pick up a huge 25-9 victory to start the match, and set the tone. As the Eagles would use the strength of a huge 19-3 run to close out the first set.
- Purchase would then give the Eagles a little bit of fight in the second set keeping it close, but once again thanks to a 9-1 run late, the Eagles were able to take the second set, 25-21.
- Set three would be more so the same as the second set, as both teams would keep it close, but the keyword for the Eagles this night would be runs. As the Eagles would use the strength of a 6-0 run midway set three to take control, and a 6-1 run, to close out both the set and the match for the Eagles.
- The Eagles now move to 5-0 vs. the Panthers, and in all five matches have not allowed the Panthers to take a set in any of the contests. The Eagles are 15-0 in sets vs. the Panthers.
Top Performers
- The Eagles leading point scorer for the evening would turn out to be Dadlyna Louis, as she would earn a double-double in the match, which did include, 15 points off of 13 kills, Louis would also pick up a solo block and two block assists to cap off her night.
- Marissa Heimbaugh would fall one dig short of a double-double, as she would also have double digit points, as she would earn ten points, which were contributed with six kills, and four service aces. Heimbaugh would also pick up nine digs, and an assist on the night.
- Sienna Volpe would be the third highest scorer for the Eagles, picking up 8.5 points on the night off of seven kills, a service ace, and a block assist. Volpe would also pick up nine digs in the set.
- The Eagles would have a very successful day serving as the Eagles would pick up 15 service aces in the match, with Heimbaugh & Alyssa Wells picking up four each for the team, the freshman duo of Victoria Compton & Amiyah Freeman would pick up three each, and Volpe rounding it out with one of her own.

The Eagles will return to action on Thursday, September 18th, as they will continue their road stretch and head to Abington, PA, to face off against Penn State Abington, with game time set for 7:00pm.
