NEW YORK, N.Y. — The Saint Elizabeth University women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup to Baruch College on Thursday evening, falling in straight sets (20–25, 23–25, 18–25) at the ARC Arena in New York City.

Despite the loss, the Eagles showed strong moments throughout the match, highlighted by multiple service aces and an aggressive net presence.

Sophomore Mia Gonzales led Saint Elizabeth offensively with seven kills and added two service aces and two blocks for a team-high 10.0 points. Senior Sienna Volpe contributed six kills, three aces, and eight digs, while Ericka Menaling Trajano directed the attack with 20 assists, two aces, and eight digs.

Defensively, Alyssa Wells anchored the back row with a team-high 13 digs, and Dadlyna Louis was a force at the net, recording four blocks to go along with five kills. Marissa Heimbaugh added six kills and four digs, while Marissa Jean Baptiste chipped in three kills and two blocks.

Saint Elizabeth totaled 30 kills, 10 aces, and six team blocks, while Baruch countered with a balanced attack, registering 31 kills and seven aces to secure the 3–0 victory.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, November 1st, as they will host Gwynedd Mercy at 12PM, with the team looking to host their Senior Night.
