New York, N.Y. – The Saint Elizabeth University women's soccer team put forth a determined effort on Wednesday evening.
Sophomore goalkeeper Elizabeth Giamboy was the standout performer for the Eagles, turning in an exceptional performance between the posts. Giamboy recorded 21 saves against 46 total shots faced, keeping SEU competitive throughout much of the match despite heavy offensive pressure from Pratt.
Defensively, the Eagles worked tirelessly with strong minutes from Katherine Mora, Chelsea Sarmiento, and Leah Tate, who anchored the back line against sustained attacks. Sarmiento registered the team's lone shot of the evening in the second half, showing SEU's persistence to push forward until the final whistle.
