MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The Saint Elizabeth University men's soccer team capped off its regular season with a decisive 2–0 victory over Pratt Institute on Wednesday afternoon at Robert T. Shields Field.
The Eagles dominated possession and scoring opportunities throughout the match, outshooting the Cannoneers 24–6 while earning nine corner kicks. Sophomore Derick Campoverde opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, finding the back of the net off a crisp assist from senior defender Yonatan Figueroa to give Saint Elizabeth a 1–0 advantage.
Saint Elizabeth doubled its lead early in the second half when Zach Ahmed converted in the 51st minute, assisted by Marvin Miranda, sealing the 2–0 result.
Goalkeeper Jonathan Ramirez Delgado was solid between the posts, recording four saves to secure his second shutout of the season and the team's fourth win overall.
Defensively, the Eagles were anchored by Carlos Saldana, Almir Mata, and Eliezer Cortes, who limited Pratt to just four shots on goal.
With this win, the Eagles have earned the four seed in the upcoming 2025, Atlantic East Men's Soccer Championship Tournament.
