Morristown, N.J. (November 1, 2025) — Saint Elizabeth University men's soccer closed out its 2025 campaign with a hard-fought 2–1 loss to Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Soccer Field.
The visiting Griffins struck early when Colin Stocklin scored in the 8th minute, assisted by Luke O'Donnell. Gwynedd Mercy extended its lead to 2–0 shortly after halftime on a goal by Devario Gboho in the 48th minute.
The Eagles battled back in the second half, outshooting the Griffins 18–7 and creating several quality chances. Adrian Gabino put Saint Elizabeth on the board in the 65th minute, finishing a cross from Derick Campoverde to make it 2–1. Despite sustained offensive pressure and a 28–12 shot advantage for the match, the Eagles were unable to find the equalizer.
Goalkeeper Jonathan Ramirez Delgado recorded four saves in the effort, while Franco Arteaga led the attack with five shots on goal. Marvin Miranda and Yonatan Figueroa also contributed multiple scoring opportunities for the home side.
