Jamaica, NY- The Saint Elizabeth Women's Soccer team picked up an 8-1 victory over the York Cardinals on Saturday, September 7th.
With this win the Eagles improve to 2-0-1 on the season, while the Cardinals fall to 0-1 to begin their 2024 campaign.
Laila Kendle and
Paige Neal scored four goals each, combining for the Eagles eight total goals on the afternoon. Neal and teammates
Kaylee Davis would contribute to four assists on the afternoon for the Cobras, while
Chelsea Sarmiento also picked up a save in the match.
Salma Ibrahim was able to pick up one save this afternoon out of the three shots York sent her way.
The Eagles were able to take 26 shots on the afternoon with 17 of the shots being on target for the Eagles. Saint Elizabeth was also able to put together seven corner kicks.

The Eagles will head back on the road on Tuesday, September 10th, as they will head to Throggs Neck, NY, to face Maritime College with kickoff scheduled for 7:30PM.
