Eagles Fall To Privateers On Road

Throggs Neck, NY- The Saint Elizabeth Women's Soccer team fell on the road on Tuesday, September 10th, to SUNY Maritime by a final of 3-1.

With the win, the Privateers remain undefeated at 3-0-0 on the season, while the Eagles suffer their first loss on the season, making their record 2-1-1.

The Eagles lone goal came from Laila Kendle off of a penalty kick in the 68th minute of the contest. With this goal, Kendle now has 12 on the season, which currently leads all of NCAA Division III. Salma Ibrahim was able to make seven saves in goal for the Eagles in Tuesday's contest. Paige Neal, Katherine Mora, Emily Mejia, and Chelsea Sarmiento, all also were able to put shots for the Eagles. All together the Eagles took 12 shots as a team, with five of them being on target.

Up Next for Saint Elizabeth

The Eagles will travel on Saturday, September 14th, to Rosemont College, to face fellow United East rival Rosemont, in a non-conference match up, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00PM.
