Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Volleyball team fell at home to Penn State Abington at home in four sets losing 3-1.
With this win the Nittany Lions improve their record to 12-2, following the loss the Eagles drop to below .500 for the first time since September 16th, the Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
Penn State Abington would win the first set by a final of 25-14, before the Eagles would win a competitve set two by a final of 25-19, the Nittany Lions would then take the next two sets winning a combined 50-30, winning set three 25-13, and set four 25-17.
Dadlyna Louis & Onye Bosco would both get double-doubles for the Eagles with Louis earning 15 points off 10 kills, three solo blocks, two block assists, and one service ace. While Bosco was able to get 13 kills off of one solo block.
Marissa Heimbaugh, would tally seven points for the Eagles off the strength of seven kills.
Taylor Liriano &
Sophie Galchus would both get four points each for the Eagles, Liriano picking up points off of two kills and two service ace. Galchus picked up her points off of three kills and two block assists.
Kristina Ashton would contribute three service aces to go along with 15 assists on the evening.
Alyssa Wells,
Stephanie Jaramillo, and
Ericka Menaling Trajano, all also contribute points for the Eagles. Menaling Trajano would also contribute 17 assists to her night.

The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday, October 2nd as they will open conference play on the road vs. Penn State Harrisburg, in Middletown, PA, with game time set for 7:00PM.
