Eagles Take Down Bulldogs At Home

Madison, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth Men's Soccer team defeated Brooklyn College on Wednesday, September 25th, by a final score of 4-1.

With this win the Eagles improve their record to 3-4 on the season, following the loss Brooklyn College now falls to 1-7 on the season.

Sebastian Londono would score three goals for the Eagles in the win, the first goal would come with under ten minutes played with an assist coming from Marvin Miranda. Londono would follow up with a penalty kick goal with less than five minutes to go in the half giving the Eagles a 2-0 advantage heading into the break. Brooklyn would cut the deficit in half with a goal of their own, but the Eagles would strike back less than ten minutes later as Londono would secure the hat trick, scoring in the 77th minute, Eddy Castro would pick up the assist to make it 3-1 Eagles. Brandon Quishpi would cap off the Eagles scoring with under five minutes to go in the game with an unassisted goal, securing the 4-1 victory for the Eagles. Londono, who now has 29 goals in his career, now holds the record for most career goals.

In goal, Stuart Estrada & Jonathan Ramirez Delgado would split time, with Ramirez getting the start and playing the first half, making one save & Estrada playing the second half, making four saves, for a total of five for the pair.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, September 28th, as they will begin conference play against Penn State Brandywine, with kickoff set for 3:00PM.
