Eagles Shut Out Hunter In Home Opener

Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth Men's Soccer Team were able to get a dominating win vs. the Hunter College Hawks in their home opener on Saturday, September 21st, as they were able to pick up an impressive 6-0 win over the Hawks.

With this win, the Eagles now jump to 2-4 on the season, while the Hawks following the loss fall to 1-5 on the season.

Sebastian Londono was able to pick up two goals for the Eagles both in the first half, with the first goal coming with an assist from Cody Ikner. Marvin Miranda joined in on the scoring for the Eagles in the first half with a goal midway through, David Aboussleman picked up the assist on Miranda's goal. The Eagles four goal first half would conclude with Zach Ahmed picking up the Eagles final goal of the half with under 5 minutes to go in the half, Richard Montero would pick up the assist. The Eagles would tack on two more goals in the second half, as Brandon Quishpi would score his first goal on the day. going unassisted early in the second half. The Eagles capped off their scoring with a goal from Marr Perez Aguirre late in the second half, Afrim Amoah-Mensah was able to dish the pass to Perez Aguirre to set up the goal.

In the net, goalkeeper Andrew Gonzalez was able to pick up his first win, in his first start for the Eagles, shutting out the Hawks, while making six saves in the win.
