Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth Women's Volleyball Team came up short in their home opener vs. Mount Saint Mary's falling 3-0.
All three sets were tightly contested as both teams refused to give in, Mount Saint Mary's was able to take the first set 25-18, before edging out two hard fought final sets by both teams with the scores being 25-23 & 27-25.
With this win, the Knights improve to 2-9 on the season, meanwhile the Eagles fall below .500 with the loss, with their record going to 3-4 on the season.

Stephanie Jaramillo led the Eagles in kills tonight both posting eight on the night.
Marissa Heimbaugh was one kill off of her teammates as she was able to post seven for the Eagles on the night. Onye Bosco &
Taylor Liriano were both also able to contribute with a combined 11 kills, with Bosco sporting six on the night and Liriano posting five for the Eagles.
Dadlyna Louis was also able to post three kills on the night for the Eagles, and
Sophie Galchus was able to put down a kill as well for her squad.

Kristina Ashton combined for 31 assists on the night with Menaling Trajano picking up 16 assists on the evening and Ashton picking up 15.

The Eagles will continue their busy week as they will return to action on Wednesday, September 18th, as they will travel to the Bronx, NY, to face Lehman College, with game time scheduled for 6:00PM.
