Reading, PA- The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Volleyball team were defeated in their match on Friday, September 13th, vs. Albright, with the Lions pulling away with a 3-0 victory over the Eagles.
With this win Albright now improves to 5-2 on the season, Saint Elizabeth ends their six game road trip to begin the season at an even .500 record, now being 3-3 on the season.
Albright would win an extremely competitive first set that had you on the edge of your seats, winning 30-28 in the first set. Albright would ride the momentum from that first winning the next two sets 25-15 and 25-20.
Onye Bosco would lead the way in kills for the Eagles picking up nine on the night.
Sienna Volpe would fall one kill short of her teammate, ending her night with eight kills on the evening.
Dadlyna Louis would finish the night with seven kills, while
Taylor Liriano had six kills on the evening.
Stephanie Jaramillo and
Kristina Ashton would also have kills for the Eagles, with Jaramillo picking up three and Ashton picking up one kill for the Eagles. To add to Ashton's kill on the evening, she would pick up 27 assists on the evening.
The Eagles would actually have four more kills then the Lions with the Eagles having 34 & the Lions having 30. Saint Elizabeth also was able to have more kills then Albright, being up in that category 32-26.

The Eagles will now gear up for their long awaited home opener on Monday, September 16th, as they will welcome Mount Saint Mary College (NY) to Morristown, with game time scheduled for 7:00PM.
