The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Basketball team entered Saturday with an 0-3 all-time record in playoff games. Their hot shooting and stingy defense would change that narrative. The Eagles were able to build a substantial lead early and fought until the end to win the first playoff game in program history. With the win, the Eagles increase the program record for wins in a season to 16. The Patriots end their season with a 5-20 overall record in Coach Dominique Boone's first season.

The Eagles will advance to the next round of the conference tournament to take on Bryn Athyn College on Monday February 19. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm in Bryn Athyn, PA.
