The Saint Elizabeth Men's Basketball team traveled to Rosemont College for their final regular season game before the United East Conference Tournament. The Eagles entered Wednesday's game locked into the 3rd seed while the Ravens were fighting for the 6th and final playoff spot. The Eagles jumped out to an early 13-0 lead in the first five minutes of the game. The Ravens would rally back and take a three point lead into halftime. However, Saint Elizabeth found their rhythm shooting the ball and were able to finally pull away from Rosemont in the final minutes. The Eagles complete their conference season with a 12-4 record, the most conference wins in program history. With the loss, the Ravens are knocked out of playoff contention and finish the season with 5-11 conference record, 6-19 overall.


Nate Thompson narrowly missed recording a double-double with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. Jonathan Ramos led the Eagles shooting efforts hitting four three pointers on his way to scoring 18 points. Tye-Rell Monroe helped out with 17 points and 6 rebounds. D'Angelo Blackmond contributed 12 points and 8 rebounds. Yamere Diggs chipped in scoring 7 points off the bench.


The Eagles will begin their United East conference tournament run at home against the University of Valley Forge on February 17. Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm at Saint Joseph Hall.
