Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University Eagles Women's Basketball team picked up a win at home vs. Purchase College on Saturday, November 16th, winning by a final of 72-64.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 2-2 on the season, while Purchase following the loss falls to 1-3 on the season.
Paige Neal would lead the scoring for the Eagles, dropping 20 points vs. the Panthers, going 7-10 from the field, while also going 5-5 from the free throw line. Neal was also able to contribute nine rebounds on the night, as well as four steals for the Eagles.
Yasminah White would also tally double digits for the Eagles, tallying 15 on the night, which included going 6-6 at the free throw line. White also tallied four steals, two assists, and two steals on the night for the Eagles.
Ahjionae Cobb would tally 12 points on the night for the Eagles, while also picking up three rebounds, three assists, and one steal on the night.
Mya Davis,
Ashley Phillip, and
Aliyah Folarin all scored four points for the Eagles in the win. The tiro would go on to combine for eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals on the night.
Jasmine Pierce,
Amaya Carruthers, and
Myshiah Mcqueen each tallied three points on the night.
Laila Kendle, would tally nine rebounds for the Eagles, while also picking up two points, three steals, one assist, and one block for the Eagles.
