Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Soccer team earned a 6-0 shutout victory over Valley Forge on Saturday, October 5th.

Following the win, the Eagles overall record improves to 6-4-0 overall, while moving to 3-0-0 in conference play. Valley Forge will now drop to 2-11-0 on the season, going 0-3-0 in conference play.

The Eagles would start control possession for awhile, but were not able to find the back of the net until early in to the 20th minute, when Franco Arteaga would strike and begin the scoring for the Eagles. The Eagles would continue to roll as late in the 27th minute the Eagles would strike again with a Afrim Amoah-Mensah would find the back of the net with an assist coming from Esdras Estrada. Despite the Eagles controlling the ball for most of the first half, the score would remain 2-0 heading into the break. Coming out the break, Brandon Quishpi would find the back of the net in the 60th minute, giving the Eagles a 3-0 advantage, Jaime Bimboza would pick up the assist. The game would remain a 3-0, until the last 10 minutes of the contest where the Eagles would score three goals within five minutes of each other. The first goal would come from Sebastian Londono late into the 80th minute, with Estrada picking up his second assist on the afternoon. Marvin Miranda would go on to score two minutes, later early in the 82nd minute, Massimo Rondon would pick up the assist. To cap off the scoring for not only the last ten minutes but the game, Londono would find the back of the net for a second time giving the Eagles a 6-0 advantage, with Miranda picking up the assist. The star of the night was the Eagles' backline on defense only allowing one shot the entire 90 minutes and keeping the ball primarily in Valley Forge territory!

The Eagles will return to action on Tuesday, October 8th, as they will continue conference play as they will travel to Reading, PA to face Penn State Berks, with gametime scheduled for 7:30pm.
