Reading, PA- The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Soccer Team picked up a 3-0 victory over Penn State Berks on Tuesday, October 8th, to extend their winning streak to six straight games.
With this win, the Eagles improve their record to 7-4-0 overall on the season, while remaining undefeated in conference play with a record of 4-0-0. Following the loss, the Lions fall to 3-8-1 on the season overall, while dropping to 0-2-1 in conference play.
The Eagles would get the scoring starting halfway into the 17th minute with a goal off the foot of
Almir Mata with
Sebastian Londono picking up the assist, giving the Eagles a 1-0 advantage over a third of the way into the contest. A competitive first half would see the score remain 1-0 all the way to the break with both teams holding their own on defense. The Eagles would comeback from break however with three minutes past,
Brandon Quishpi would find the back of the net for the Eagles in the 48th minute of the contest, with
Marvin Miranda picking up the assist. The Eagles would maintain a 2-0 lead heading throughout the game until Quishpi would strike again with his second goal of the half and the game in the 82nd minute, to seal the game for the Eagles at 3-0, Londono would pick up the assist.
Andrew Gonzalez would get the nod in goal for the Eagles going the full 90 minutes picking up two saves in the match.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, October 12th, as they will return home to face Penn State Harrisburg, with game time scheduled for 3:30pm from Elizabeth Ruth Hennessey Field on the Campus of FDU-Florham.
