Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth Women's Soccer team fell at home on Tuesday, October 1st, to Notre Dame of Maryland by a final of 3-2.
With this win the Gators now improve to 2-6-0 on the season, and go to 1-1-0 in conference play. The Eagles following the loss go to 4-4-1 on the season, and also are now 1-1-0 in conference play.
The Gators would take an early 1-0 lead and maintain the lead going into the break. The Eagles would strike back though to start the second half, scoring in the 52nd minute off of a score from
Chelsea Sarmiento nodding the score up at one all, Sarmiento's goal would be assisted by
Katherine Mora. The Gators would score two unanswered goals to take a 3-1 lead heading into the 80th minute. Sarmiento would try and start the rally for the Eagles, with only three minutes left on the clock as she would score her second goal of the game in the 87th minute.
Emily Fearon would get the start in goal for the Eagles, playing nearly 80 minutes in the net for the Eagles making three saves on the night.

The Eagles will continue their home-stand, as well as Conference play, as they will welcome the University of Valley Forge, on Saturday, October 5th, at 1:00pm. The Saint Elizabeth Women's Soccer team will also be honoring their seniors on Saturday, as it will be senior day for the team.
