The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Basketball team earned their fourth straight United East conference win in a blowout versus the University of Valley Forge. The Patriots led for a brief stretch in the beginning of the game, but then it was all Eagles moving forward. The Eagles now boast an impressive 5-1 conference record while the Patriots drop to 0-6 in conference.
Destiny Battle led the Eagles in scoring and passing with 23 points, 9 assists, and 5 steals.
Ahjionae Cobb recorded her first career double-double finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Mya Davis contributed 13 points of her own along with 7 steals.
Laila Kendle was effective on the glass grabbing 12 rebounds on the night.
The Eagles will go on the road next week in a conference clash against Clarks Summit University. Tip-off is scheduled for 6pm at Huckaby Gymnasium in Clarks Summit, PA.
