The Saint Elizabeth Men's Basketball team traveled to Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday night to take on the University of Valley Forge. The Eagles used their energetic defense to build a 9-point halftime lead. The Patriots would battle back in the second half before the Eagles pulled away for good to secure their 10th conference win. The Eagles are now 10-3 in United East Skye Division play while the Patriots now hold a 3-10 conference record.


D'Angelo Blackmond was effective in multiple stat categories for the Eagles finishing with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Jonathan Ramos scored 11 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Malamin Kaba contributed 11 points including 3 three-pointers. Cam'Ron Martel recorded 9 points and 5 rebounds. Nate Thompson also scored 9 points on 4 for 5 shooting. It was a total team effort as all nine Eagles that registered minutes scored at least 5 points.


Next up for the Eagles will be an important home contest versus the Lions of Bryn Athyn College. The Lions currently sit in first place in the United East Skye Division. Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm following the women's game in a true doubleheader.
