Saint Elizabeth University Men's Basketball team opened up 2024 on the right side of a United East Skye Division contest against Wilson College. The game was a back and forth affair with 11 lead changes and 10 ties between the two teams. With the win the Eagles, move to 3-1 in the conference and the Phoenix drop to 3-2. The Eagles won despite experiencing foul trouble the entire game as two Eagles starters fouled out in the 2nd half.
Tye-Rell Monroe led all scorers with 13 points. 
Jonathan Ramos was 1 rebound shy of a double-double and ended with 10 points and 9 rebounds. 
Cam'Ron Martel played a season-high 27 minutes and registered 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks. 
Malamin Kaba was on fire from behind the line as he finished with 9 points on 3 of 4 shooting from three. 
Nasir Owens was another big bench contributor scoring 8 points while dishing out 4 assists.
The Eagles will look to make it two wins in a row on Saturday at home against the Patriots of University of Valley Forge. Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm following the women's game.
