The Saint Elizabeth Men's Basketball team remained undefeated in 2024 with a decisive win against the Patriots of University of Valley Forge. The Eagles matched a season-high knocking down ten three pointers on their way to their fourth conference victory of the season. The Eagles improve to 4-1 and move into second place in the United East Skye Division with the win. The Patriots drop to 1-5 in conference play.
Tye-Rell Monroe exploded for a career-high in three categories including 40 points, 12Â rebounds, and 4 steals.
Tyrese Conover also scored double figures finishing with 16 points including 4 three pointers.
Cam'Ron Martel provided a spark off the bench with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks.
D'Angelo Blackmond finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds.
Jonathan Ramos was very effective passing the ball recording 6 assists. The Eagles shot an impressive 10 for 18 from the three point line and shot 53 percent from the field overall.
The Eagles will play three consecutive road games next week starting with a contest against Clarks Summit University. Tip-off is scheduled for 8pm following the women's game as a true double header in Clarks Summit, PA.
