The Saint Elizabeth Women's Basketball team made the long trip to Chambersburg, PA Saturday to take on Wiilson College in a United East Skye Division game. Saint Elizabeth started slow but then took the lead with 7:32 left in the first quarter and never looked back. The Eagles are now on a 7-game conference win streak and sit in second place. With the loss Wilson drops to 6-4 in conference play.
Destiny Battle scored 24 points and also contributed 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals.
Yasminah White also achieved double-figure scoring and finished with 13 points.
Ahjionae Cobb finished with 10 points and 4 rebounds off the bench.
Aryanna Baytops and
Laila Kendle were both active on the boards grabbing 10 rebounds and 9 rebounds respectively.
The Eagles will look to extend their winning streak on Tuesday in a home contest against Cairn University. Tip-off is scheduled for 6pm in Saint Joseph Hall.
