The Eagles men's basketball team started off strong in Doylestown, PA for a Saturday afternoon game against Delaware Valley University. Saint Elizabeth took a 1-point lead into halftime, but the Aggies rallied back late in the final minutes to pull away. The Eagles dropped to 1-3 while the Aggies improved to 2-2.
Tye-Rell Monroe recorded his first double-double of the season with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
Pierre Harden scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. The Eagles were as dominant with their inside scoring as they have been all season, scoring 48 points in the paint.Â
The Eagles next hit the court on Saturday November 25th at home against St. Joseph University Long Island. Tip-off is set for 3 pm at St Joseph Hall.
