The Saint Elizabeth Men's Soccer team would not be denied as they defeated the Lions of Bryn Athyn College on the road 2-1. The Eagles attack was successful early, scoring 2 goals in the first 7 minutes of play. The Lions would rally back with a late goal in the 84th minute but eventually ran out of time. The Eagles currently sit in first place in the United East Skye Division.
Bryan Cervantes found the back of the net early in the 3rd minute of the match.
David Aboussleman followed up his teammate shortly after with his 4th goal of the seaon on a great assist by
Kevin Vasquez. The Eagles back-line was also successful, allowing only 2 shots on goal.
The Eagles look to extend their winning streak to 10 games when they take on the Phoenix of Wilson College on October 14th in Chambersburg, PA.
