The Saint Elizabeth Men's Soccer Team looked to keep climbing in the United East Skye Division standings as they took on the Phoenix of Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. Despite not having any conference wins, the Phoenix put forth a considerable effort and did enough to tie the match.
The Eagles continued their pattern of early offense when
Alejandro Lopez scored in the 4th minute on a penalty kick. Saint Elizabeth carried that 1-0 lead through the rest of the first half and part of the second until Wilson responded with a goal in the 69th minute.
Sebastian Londono responded with his team-high 16th goal of the season in the 71st minute to give the Eagles the lead.
Kevin Vasquez was credited with the assist. However, Wilson would not be discouraged as tied the score again with a late goal in the 78th minute.
The Eagles will look to get back in the win column as they face Keystone College at 3pm on October 17th at Elizabeth Ruth Hennessey Field.
