Last season, the Eagles traveled to Wilson and the two teams battled for 5 sets with the Phoenix coming out on top. This time, Wilson traveled to Morristown for another 5-set match. The Eagles won the first two sets, but the Phoenix battled back to take the next two, despite strong serving by Marcda Thermitus in the 4th set, where she had 3 aces in the attempt to dig out of an early hole. In the end, the Eagles would come out on top behind the right arms of Stephanie Jaramillo who led the way with 11 kills (12 points) and Sienna Volpe who had 10 kills (12 points). Onyé Bosco had 3 blocks and Dadlyna Louis added 2 blocks and Kristina Ashton had 29 assists on the night.
The Eagles travel to Bryn Athyn with an opportunity for their fourth straight conference win on Saturday, October 14th.
