Morristown, N.J. – The College of Saint Elizabeth swept Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) foe Centenary on Wednesday, 3-0, on "Dig For A Cure" Night in front of a raucous crowd inside Luing Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-11, 25-15, 26-24.
Senior outside hitter Yasmina Muhammad (Newark, N.J.) led the way for the Eagles (6-6, 2-1 CSAC) with 17 kills. Senior setter
Diane Cuevas (Newark, N.J.) totaled 16 assists and four service aces, while sophomore
Alizea Amaral (Newark, N.J.) racked up 13 assists.
For the Cyclones (0-10, 0-4 CSAC), Amelia Rodriguez finished with a team-high five kills.
Saint Elizabeth raised money through t-shirt sales and a bake sale for the Susan G. Komen Foundation Wednesday night. The Eagles are back in action on Friday evening with a 6 p.m. CSAC match at Keystone.
