HACKETSTOWN, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's Women's basketball team (1-1, 0-0 NEAC) powered past Centenary University for its first win of the season, 60-52 on Saturday afternoon.
CSE's defense was stellar in the first half, holding Centenary to just 13 points over the first 20 minutes. After the Cyclones gained momentum in the third quarter, the Eagles pulled away in the final period, winning the contest by eight.
Rakiyah Sellers lead the Eagles with 19 points and four steals.
Deja Ingram added 12 points and eight rebounds while
Kamani Williams finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.
CSE returns to action on Monday when it hosts Penn State Brandywine at 7 pm.
