MORRISTOWN, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's basketball team (4-9, 1-4 NEAC) defeated the Wildcats from Cazenovia College for its first conference win, 73-65 on Saturday afternoon.

Kamille Jacobs scored a career high 21 points, grabbed five rebounds, and had four steals.  Deja Ingram notched another double-double, finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds while Rakiyah Sellers added a season high 20 points.

Riding the momentum from Thursday's win, the Eagles came out of the gate hot, scoring nine of the first 11 points to take a 9-2 lead. The Wildcats knocked down three, three-pointers over a five minute span to get back within one within two with 7:45 remaining in the second quarter.  Both teams went back and forth for the remainder of the first half as the Eagles took a 22-21 lead into halftime.

The first six minutes of the third quarter was controlled by the Wildcats as it took a six-point lead, its largest of the game.  At the 2:30 mark, Sellers burried a three which was followed by a Kamani Williams layup to give the Eagles the lead, 39-38.  Trailing by two, Damaris King made a fast-break layup as time expired to tie the game at 43, heading into the final period.

Leading 55-52, the Eagles scored the next four points to take a 59-52 lead with 4:30 minutes remaining in the contest.  The Eagles kept the peddle to the metal over the next three minutes, upping the lead to 10 with just under two minutes to go in regulation.  CSE knocked down six free-throws over the final minute, and finished 20-25 from the charity stripe, in route to the eight point victory.  The Eagles outscored the Wildcats 30-22 in the final quarter.

CSE looks to make it three straight wins when it returns to action Sunday against Morrisville State at 2 pm.
