Chambersberg, Pa. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's softball team (3-17, 0-6 NEAC) fell in a pair of conference games to Wilson College, 10-5 and 20-2 on Sunday afternoon.
After falling behind 6-0 after the first two innings, the Eagles clawed its way back by scoring four runs of the next three innings to get back within two. Wilson added four more in the fifth inning to take a six run lead. The Eagles managed a run in the sixth but it was not enough, dropping game one, 10-5.
CSE fell behind 4-1Â after the first inning and a half. Wilson would pile it on over the next three innings, scoring 16 unanswered runs before the Eagles added its final run in the fourth inning.
CSE returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Penn State Berks at 3 pm.
